Has anyone tried to substitute egg whites with flax seed?

Has anyone tried this when baking? The reason I need to know is my brother in law is allergic to eggs whites and yokes before anyone asks that question. Since I like to bake alot I try new things. If you have tried this please let me know how the product you baked turned out thank you. Also if you know of any other better ways let me know.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup flax seeds
4 cups water

METHOD
In a blender, process flax seeds to a fine meal. Add water and blend.
Keeps about 2 weeks, refrigerated. 1/4 cup replaces one egg.
For those of you who have never been there please keep opinions to yourself. I need help not bad comments thank you. EGGS CAN KILL THE MAN!

No -I’ve never tried it -but you could!

Just make a few small, trial things that NEED eggs, and see how they hold up. No harm in trying, right?
